Can I work with you if I don’t live in California?
I’m licensed as a physical therapist only in California at this time, which means I am legally not allowed to evaluate or treat anyone outside the state of California for skilled physical therapy services. However, I do provide personalized fitness programming if that’s appropriate for your situation. See the services page for more information. If you have questions about your specific case, please shoot me an e-mail or sign up for a free discovery call. I look forward to talking with you!
Do you take my insurance?
I’m not contracted with any insurance companies because I strongly feel that your care should be dictated by YOU with the guidance of your healthcare provider (me), NOT by insurance companies. By providing my services via direct cash payment, I am able to treat you in a way that will get you the best results possible with 1:1 care from someone who truly understands you and your needs.
***Important Note: By law, I am unable to take cash payment for physical therapy services from anyone who is covered under Medicare or Medi-Cal. Please feel free to reach out to me via e-mail if you have questions about this.
Do I need a referral from my physician to start physical therapy with you?
No. In California, I am able to provide physical therapy services without a physician’s referral through a process called “direct access.” This grants us the opportunity to work together for up to 12 visits or 45 calendar days, whichever comes first. If we decide to continue working together in a rehab capacity after this period of time, you will then need to obtain a referral.
Can I work with you if I’m not in pain or injured?
Absolutely! I’m a physical therapist by trade, but I also have the education and skillset to design exercise programs and provide fitness coaching for people who are not injured or in pain! I love helping people fortify their health in any way that I can.
